it hasn't helped sell any mags but it appears our nonsense on here has just pushed our account over 5K 'followers', so let's embrace that as some kind of achievement!

Hello! My CEO Roscoe and I are giving away TWO signed copies of my novel 1983 to two randomly selected people who repost this & pop a reply below. You also get a free postcard of this illustration of Roscoe by my mum.

It’s been called “Stranger Things rewritten by Kurt Vonnegut & Sue Townsend”…

For Halloween the Lichemaster comes forth. And so does the Crow Man. Tremble.

Watching a video today about how to claim a Google Knowledge panel. The presenter said “the form asks me why I should own the panel, so I used AI to draft my answer”. It’s 100 words and you’d have had to type why into ChatGPT to get it to draft. I shouted at the computer.

Watching a YouTube video about outlaw biker gangs and am unhappy with their use of apostrophes. Its should surely be “Hell’s Angels” and definitely not “Pagan’s”.

Who do I contact to express my disappointment?

Slightly freaked out by a Magpie having just tapped on my office window. Our eyes met and then it flew away.

It’s a sunny day in October - not the start of a folk horror story hopefully!

Intrigued by the premise of clockpunk roleplaying in Da Vinci’s Florence? Owner of Gran Meccanismo without ever having run it?

Why not take a look at my newly published scenario: www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...

It’s very weird that the American government is full of people who must find Indiana Jones films so challenging. “Why does Indy keep hitting the good guys?” they must wonder.

I’d forgotten what a great song New York Groove is. Should be getting way more airplay as a classic.

Am always amused that the US protests are ‘No Kings’ when frankly a constitutional monarch like the UK has, or The Netherlands, or Sweden, would be a far more attractive option than America’s imperial presidency. Kings have little power these days compared to Presidents.
Lol that the London No Kings event is called No Tyrants because…you know…

Further Muppet movies, and who’s the human actor?

My starter. The Muppets Trainspotting, with Robert Carlyle.

Nothing he does is for the benefit of the UK. All for his own ego and wallet.
Worth noting that, before his Congress session, Farage spoke at an event alongside abortion 'abolitionists', where he told them they were “saving western civilisation”

My son doing tours of the Design and Technology room at the school open evening tonight.

I get twitches just thinking about the workshop at school back in the 80s. Teenage nutcases with access to screwdrivers, Stanley knives and other tools. An hour of fear and alertness.

19 miles to walk today. The rain is on and the wind is blowing. The big blister is no longer a blister, but stopped bleeding yesterday.

The first pint tonight will taste good.

NOTHING will prepare you for this 45-second story arc. From "I'm just doing this because I love the flag, it's totally grassroots, and I'm not part of anything political"... to who actually gave him the flags the night before.

Anyone who believes it is an innocent movement needs to see this.
