The America's Next Top Model doc on Netflix is making my blood boil. All the exploitation and harm they did the girls is being fobbed off with the excuse of 'that's what it was like back then. We didn't know better.' Like it was the 1970s not just 15 years ago. Utter bollocks.

I had measles as a child (before the vaccine was introduced). My mum told me I was very ill with it. I feel sorry for kids whose parents probably had the vaccine but left their own children to suffer.

I've gone from carpet downstairs in my old place to laminate in my new house. As someone who usually did hoovering at least twice a year before, I'm now forced to regularly sweep and clean the floor or risk seeing hair and dust tumbleweed roll by as I watch telly. I miss carpet.
