I'm watching the Michael Jackson doc. Separate from the actual subject matter, I'm rolling my eyes over how every yank interviewed has to play the emotional victim role. Even a police officer who's only connection was she was part of the patrol that searched Neverland, has to start crying. Pathetic!

I love a Jane Austin, though the Bronte's - not so much. Jane Eyre is alright, but Wuthering Heights I've never enjoyed. 2 appalling characters. This is a shame, as the modern take of this new film version sounds right up my street. However, the thought of sitting through that story bores me rigid.

Mackenzie Crook creates the most subtle and poignant dramas in little 30-minute bursts of brilliance. First, the Detectorists and now #SmallProphets, that started yesterday on BBC2. Highly highly recommended.

He's way too smarmy and not much different in terms of policy to Starmer. If Labour have to change leaders I'd want one who'd stop the Reform!lite immigration policies.
