The American political right is a cesspit of bigotry, white grievance, conspiracism, religious zealotry, violent ideation and action, and plutocrat money fueling it all.

Among rightist political and thought leaders, there’s little to no good faith. There’s just power and gleeful destruction.

Just thinking about how the right made up an entirely fictional left wing character that resulted in so many bomb threats and the like and nobody will face consequences. But people on the left who accurately clocked the victim’s life work lost jobs.

Not long after, a young white Christian male radicalized online by white male Christians like Charlie Kirk shot up his high school in the state next door.

Many have commented that the war on science and medicine is irrational from the standpoint of capitalism. The destruction of the CDC makes sense though if you realize the war is actually on us, our communities, our very lives. It’s a class war against life itself.

This is what it looks like when permanent war comes home.
It was tense in Maywood and Bell as ICE/CBP and multiple local police agencies confronted protesters and local residents vocalizing their anger at ICE/CBP violently arresting individuals and a protester.

These regime change wars, beginning with Iraq, are about instituting chaos and never letting any successful democratic or marginally independent state from ever arising in the Middle East. American Israeli hegemony are the ends, failed states are the means.
“The rationale for war was rotten. Despite advocates’ stated aims, the war was ultimately motivated by a desire for regime change. Neoconservatives in the Bush administration thought they could transform Iraq and the wider region into a pro-U.S. democratic stronghold.”

Time will tell what the consequences are of the US entering Israel’s war against Iran. But it gives me a sickening feeling. We need an anti-war movement to arrest this drift toward oblivion.

Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd.

Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.

Keep an eye out this weekend for outside agitators like the Proud Boys showing up at the No Kings Protests! They will try to incite violence and blame it on the left as they did during the George Floyd protests.

Hey for tomorrow's protests, make sure your vehicle registration is up to date and your tag is current. Double check your headlights and tail lights.

Any protective gear or even your kids' sports equipment, put it in the trunk or cover it with a blanket (see "plain view" exception).
