Now I know it’s Christmas, can tell by the minor injury. Past christmases I have broken my ankle, burnt my feet with turkey fat, split my head open and lost a front tooth. This year just broke a toe, ho ho ho!

My partner Keir and comrades Kai Heron and Bertie Russell have done a book. And my unbiased opinion is it's bloody brilliant

I am a year late to One Day. Took to bed with a cold yesterday and binged it all. My God it's good. Brave on what it leaves out. Brilliant writing and leads. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

The photos with Dave Toole dancing in Where's Vietnam? made me remember what a brilliant thing it was to be part of that production and Red Ladder
We've been reminiscing with friends for our blog.
First up, playwright, screenwriter and 'ally' @alicenut.bsky.social who wrote Where's Vietnam for Red Ladder's 40th anniversary in 2008.

I LOVE Miss Austen by Andrea Gibb so much. The bond between Cassie and Jane had me in bits. The use of Persuasion was inspired. @gibbzer.bsky.social made us feel what is really was to be a Georgian woman with so few choices, but there was still hope and agency in their lives. It did Austen proud.

Merry Christmas everybody. A dirty martini, pies from Finer_Pleasures pie maker extraordinaire, and James Brown blasting. I feel good!

I heard Sarah Jessica Parker became a Booker judge just by tweeting she'd like to be. I would like to be an irregular Masterchef judge because I really like eating.

Merry Christmas you suckers!
Christmas Music Advent Calendar Day 3. Just discovered this yesterday. Never heard of Paddy Roberts before, apparently he was a popular singer/songwriter it that witty Flanders and Swann style and I think I'm now a confirmed fan.
