Managing to reply to this juuuust before the end of #ADHDAwarenessMonth because... I have ADHD! Working on this book helped me reflect on my experiences and, after a LOT of forms and waiting lists, I now have a deeper understanding of my very own wonderful brain 😊🧠

Grateful for everyone @'d below ⬇️

I specialise in creative non-fiction, and coaching writers to bring their idea to life is such a privilege. Working on a 1-to-1 basis to see a spark of an idea through to a finished book proposal is my absolute favourite.

I wholeheartedly support @societyofauthors.bsky.social day of action against meta.
Permission must be granted to utilise the works of authors and usage MUST be paid for.
In my case 7 of my books were lifted without permission and l am not the only one!

BREAKING 🚨: WE WON OUR CASE AGAINST ROSEBANK.

The court has ruled the oil field UNLAWFUL and Rosebank’s approval has been overturned.

This is a monumental victory in the fight for a liveable future for all.

Libraries & librarians have never been more important. If we care about the future, we must make sure every school, every community, every child has access to a library & a librarian. And we have to give them all our support, so they can do their vital work, which benefits us ALL! #SaveLibraries

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Great list, and lovely to see Atlas Obscura: Wild Life here. I wrote a little bit of this book (for adults, just for a change!), about sea slugs and a famously ugly orchid, and I’ve really been enjoying reading the rest! It’s great to dip in and out of when you have 5 mins
I was deeply disappointed by the lack of nature/science/climate/enviro on many major end-of-year book lists—so I decided to make my own!

COP continues to fail us– and our planet . There were 1,700 fossil fuel execs present at #COP29 – larger than any other delegation at the conference . That’s why we’re angry– and it’s why I’m petitioning the Government to ban fossil fuel advertising and sponsorships .
