🤝 Ultimately, choosing not to fly and encouraging our communities to join us one of the few things we can control in this situation. Let's use it.

@heathrow.com UK NO 1 POLLUTER started the daily bombardment 5.30am this morning and it continues. The owners..The French, Qataris and Saudi's are laughing at the UK Gov allowing the noise, pollution and security risks they pose to the uk. Allowed whilst paying bupkiss uk tax but earn profits. SAD!

The @londonassembly.bsky.social has written to Transport Secretary highlighting that Heathrow expansion would:
1) Undermine London's air quality progress
2) Conflict with climate goals
3) Expose more Londoners to harmful aircraft noise www.london.gov.uk/who-we-are/w...

@w-2.bsky.social CPT track-keeping collapse (28.2%) shows a significant operational failure.
This warrants investigation and public explanation #Heathrow #NATS vectors over an area devoid of noise monitoring. Serious concerns @transportgovuk.bsky.social

@heathrow.com 3rd runway approved by cash strapped UK Gov who decide environmental and health destructiong acceptable to swell the coffers. Who is paying the £33 BILLION cost to pollute SE Eng even further ? Bet its not the Qatari's, French + Chinese who OWN Heathrow and pay bupkis tax to the UK.

A sad day for climate action. Heathrow’s third runway getting government backing sends the message that airport expansion matters more than safeguarding our future. We need leadership that prioritises people and planet. #Climate

Heathrow's plan for longer third runway chosen by government
Under the selected plan, the runway would be up to 3.5km long and require a new road tunnel under the airport.
