Sunset over the Benguela Current, Namibia.
Nothing here but the South Atlantic all the way down to Antarctica.
Don't try swimming it, tho' — it's a long way.

Whenever I see a reference to the #HatchAct, I immediately think of #RichardHatch.
This is a problem.

One of my faves from Etosha over the years. There's something about early morning light — and this was very early in the morning.

Good to see they're not burying the lead.
For once.
The headline could be stronger, though.
'Crowds reject Trump across U.S.', for one.
No such thing as a small crowd.

“the president is less popular than the Vietnam war” should be a simply irresistible headline
Good evening. We estimate that between 4.2 and 7.6 million people turned out for the No Kings Day demonstrations held around the country on Saturday. This makes Oct 18 very likely the biggest single-day U.S. protest event since 1970. www.gelliottmorris.com/p/second-no-...

Funny you mention that.
Sometimes I think the real reason for the trajectory of Trump's political career — and the curious, ongoing support of #GOP — is to repatriate #RichardNixon & #GeorgeWBush 's presidencies — and reputations — in the historical record.
He's that bad.
