I'm no expert, and I'm not sure how big Cobb County is — population-wise or voter-wise — but 87 votes sounds to me like a begging call for a recount.

Many people that I know who voted for the first time, people under 30, normally disinterested in politics — politics as it used to be, anyway — and mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
