My lines in the sand for 2028:

1) Universal healthcare
2) Ending military support for Israel (barring a major change in Gaza)
3) Aggressive prosecution of the Trump Administration

I will not support a Democrat that does not do these things. I am fed up with failure.
You could not INTENTIONALLY craft a better email to disrupt the "Clinton" excuse by Republicans than the blowing bubba one.

Now you know why Virginia Giuffre, and so many other victims, didn't speak out about him. And you also know what many Democrats or even "Never Trumpers" have dealt with for years.

I'm not fluent in conspiracy stupid, can someone tell me if calling a movement that's driven almost entirely by MAGA a "Democrat hoax" is a savvy political move?

I have warned people many times to be wary of BlueSky, and to stop deifying it with misinformation, like that it "doesn't have an algorithm". We've seen Jay wildin' out lately, but the rot goes deeper on these social parasite, faux-journalistic, tech bro driven sites.

I was suspended from BlueSky for defending the honor of Johnny Cash. I wish I were joking. In early October, I referenced the “I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die” lyric of “Folsom Prison B...

I have not seen nearly enough mention in this whole Joyce Carol Oates clobbering Musk conversation that not only does the guy have no personality or interests, he literally paid people to play video games for him so he could pretend to be good at something.

The same for Trump, but add in how he never, ever laughs. We've had an entire decade of Trump dominating politics, with most of us suffering hearing him weekly if not daily. Can you recall a single time you saw him actually laugh at something?
Found the tweet that Joyce Carol Oates bodied Elon Musk with and it's so beautiful in its eloquent, simple take down. So much so he's crashing out trying to prove he reads books now. Put this in the Louvre.

If you ever think: "how can the Democratic Party be this bad at politics," you're asking the wrong question.

Oligarchs control the party, and the demand was to kill last week's momentum. The primary purpose of the party is to suppress the left; winning elections is secondary.

It truly seems like Democratic leaders like to be abused by Republicans.

It's hilarious seeing Trump suddenly discover the basic problem with healthcare, which leftists have highlighted for literal generations. And while I don't care how we get to a more equitable system, it would be an incredible embarrassment if it was led by Republicans instead of Democrats.

Not sure that I'm looking forward to a new Gremlins movie. Here's some guesses on the title:

Gremlins vs Predator
Mogwai Hard with a Vengeance
Gremlins: Afterlife
Fifty Shades of Gizmo

Giving up now without a serious capitulation would communicate weakness that would leave Democrats as absolute laughingstocks and erase every iota of momentum they earned yesterday.
Inside a tense, three-hour meeting at the Capitol on Tuesday, a fiery Senator Bernie Sanders urged Democrats not to yield to Republicans without a real victory on health care. He was armed with fresh polling that showed voters would punish the party for giving up with nothing in return.

"Defund the police" was a TERRIBLE slogan. For better or worse, many respect or at least feel the need for police.

Abolish ICE, however, is a LITMUS TEST for me going forward. This organization has been filled with the dregs of society, lickspittle thugs and literal criminals. It cannot remain.
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

Alan Dershowitz is an alleged pedophile, along with his lengthy resume of being an attorney for the obviously guilty. He doesn't deserve such an easy way out - he deserves prison. But we know the latter won't happen so it would be great if he kept his promise.

How to win elections in 2026 (and beyond):

1) Universal healthcare
2) End military support for Israel
3) Ban congressional stock trading
4) Eliminate tax exemptions, aka, "simplify the tax code"
5) End daylight savings
6) Restore public university funding
7) Equality for all, regardless of status
