I love seeing progress made in USD ecosystem with unifying all DCCs and render engines. There are still enough issues which makes it hard to build 100% interchangeable workflow. One of the issues is a not 100% standardized lighting. This is a cool talk going deep on this subject.

Love the recipes functionality SideFX introduced in Houdini 20.5. It proved to be very useful. You don't need to rely on HDAs for some additional functionality anymore or legacy presets system. It's way easier now to extend existing nodes with recipes. Such a time saver!
