The incense itself is a bit different from regular incense, it more so is similar to candles, the stick draws in the oil and heats it up [using small runes engraved on the stick] to create the incense. These are usually used for quick makeshift "scented candles" or if you're otti, can't be bothered to buy a candle. For the sickos who want me to offer my soul at the shrine of Yoshi-P: I finished Final Fantasy III today, so that’s one more rung on the ladder towards that eventuality - conventional maths dictates that’s eleven rungs to go before I hit XIV, but I suspect the reality is a bit more complex.
