This is Labour’s poll tax. Its tuition fees. It is - as Iraq was for Blair - the moral stain that will mark Starmer’s government and the party for years to come. Severely disabled people are going to be starved, isolated and degraded. No Labour MP who backs this will be forgiven.

Rachel Reeves used the "things have changed" excuse to justify her vicious cuts today... and yet she changed neither her fiscal red lines, nor Labour's attitude to Brexit.

Make no mistake. It was a CHOICE to hit the pockets of those least able to take the hit.

Vile.
The human face of all those bullshit, blue tick Twitter accounts full of racism, lies, cowardice & cruelty…
Here's Marjorie Taylor Greene literally telling a British reporter to "go back to your country" and berating her for trying to ask a question.

Remember that there is nothing inevitable about this - it’s a political choice. And the fact that it’s a Labour government making that choice frankly beggars belief. Did Labour voters really vote for *this*?👇

I keep thinking this lot can’t go any lower, but they always do. Honour, integrity, character, dignity, self-respect, respect for country, service, count for nothing. Greed, ambition, entitlement, arrogance. No shame. No limits. No principles. They debase everything. I despise them.

This is the MOST DELICIOUSLY EMBARRASSING THING you will see all week, if not all month.

Richard Tice car crash in Scotland. He doesn't know the full names of the two Reform UK defectors or which council they are from.

It truly deserves to go viral.

Genuinely barking mad.
Wildly delusional and stratospherically arrogant nonsense from someone who will *never* be Prime Minister and whose party is becoming terminally unpopular in its relentlessly stupid efforts to be divisively populist.

It’s impossible to convey how bad it is in US. No agency, or programme spared. Administration bulldozing the constitution. Congress supine. Courts too slow. Officials terrified, their life’s work trashed, careers ended, expertise gone. Damage around world. US reputation and partnerships destroyed.
I know all of us who understand what is happening are experiencing mental health challenges because of that.

The only message of comfort I can offer to this community of readers is this: you are correct.

What you think is happening is really happening, and is just as concerning as you think it is.

Really struck today by how many of the people most responsible for the Brexit shitshow were actively rewarded for their stupidity/dishonesty. Knighthoods, Damehoods, peerages, newspaper columns, seats in the House of Commons… It’s a mark of how deep the rot has gone into the fabric of our society.
