1/2 Posted this to a physical media group I follow, of something "obscure" I've upgraded over the years... the Showtime TV special "The Compleat Al", featuring a somewhat fictionalized account of "Weird Al" Yankovic's life story up until that point in the 1980's.

1/2 Kind of a random follow-up/memory related to my earlier movie theater post: My parents were fairly "open" when I was growing up. In the pre-home video days,if there was an R-rated movie I wanted to see before I was 17,mom would usually take me to see it.She was a "stay at home mom" at the time.

1/2 Last time I was in a movie theater was when I took my son to see "Over the Hedge" in 2006. If there's something I want to see,I wait until it hits streaming or home video. Have a decent TV and sound system at home now,so snacks are cheaper, and if I need a bathroom break, I can pause the movie.

Oh that sounds fun. I’m always looking for *more opportunities to talk to insurance providers.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Sean Duffy’s been telling us for months that we have a critical shortage of air traffic controllers in this country which is causing serious safety issues in air travel, then Trump comes out today & calls them a bunch of traitors if they took a day off & encourages them to quit.

To put things just slightly differently: Congratulations, Mr. Schumer, you just made Democrats part of the bums voters are going to want to throw out in 2026, if not sooner.
Great job, @schumer.senate.gov. You've changed the story from "GOP hurting millions of Americans to please unpopular, failing, delusional despot who's destroying his party" to "Dems are too weak and divided in the face of Trump's strength to take a stand and protect Americans"
