While The Amateur disappointed, there were some really over-the-top moments that I really enjoyed. Just felt like it couldn’t find a consistent tone.

Loved Heart Eyes!!! It’s truly a rom-com and a slasher. It’s not just one with flavors of the other. I really loved how earnest all of that was, I loved the humor, loved the kills, loved the romance. Josh Ruben has “no problem” making great movies but this is his best yet.
If you saw Heart Eyes and love it, post about it. It’s a lower mid-level budget that is depending on word-of-mouth. We had a solid opening on a VERY difficult weekend to open on. We could use some chatter, now. And thank you if you already have been. 😍

Finally got around to Aftersun and I hate that it has taken me this long. I can’t believe it was Charlotte Wells’s first movie, it feels so masterful at everything it does.

Rewatched season 1 of Severance over the past couple of days and that show pulls off the impressive feat of keeping me 100% on the edge of my seat during a REWATCH.
The season 2 premiere was so interesting. I cannot wait to see where they take this story.
