Excited to unveil the first of its kind, a CAPE and shear search for the cases on Chase Archive! This is part of a larger advanced search capability we are rolling out.

What were some of the highest CAPE events? High-shear low-CAPE instances? Well now you can find out.

Looks like Flock is trying to get into Norman. Recently, in the past two months, 10 flock cameras were installed. 2 of them are at the entrances to an HOA. 6 of them are at a bank, with one of those looking East onto Main Street. The remaining 2 are at a Home Depot. Learn more: deflock.me

Went up to the O-deck to see what I find with my SDR. Another person came up and mentioned that they also have an SDR and went up here recently to do the same thing.

Might actually get into @meshtastic.org as it seems like a very useful thing to have during severe weather events.

I was able to ride the new Acela trains today from Boston to New York City. That was an amazing ride. I really wish we had it across more of this country

Seeing so many people using the RTD A Line to get to the airport. Has me so happy that people are realizing how great trains can be for transit.

NCAR Mesa Lab is an amazing place to be and work. Even in just the week I was there this past summer, I could see how dedicated the employees were. I met so many people through the Undergraduate Leadership Workshop. It hurts to see that this could happen to it.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

Late night severe storms with the possibility of a tornado, just lovely. At least I don't have an exam in the morning.

That emergency alert I got today has a description very close to the requirements for an Amber alert. Yet it was not an Amber alert, but instead a Law Enforcement Warning. Especially when the headline of the alert is "Endangered Missing Juvenile", that is insanely close to an Amber alert.

The government shutdown countdown page on the white house website is so poorly coded that one countdown uses local time while the other uses UTC-4. Makes me want to facepalm myself so damn hard.

I was reminded today that cars are death machines. It is insane that you need one to do anything in this country. Makes me want to move somewhere with better public transit.
