There will be some high profile moves and maybe a few others.

But universities globally are facing a bunch of pressures that mean they can’t just go on hiring sprees. Plus, the US science infrastructure is outsized. It’s not like there is a capacity to absorb all that.
For people who think other countries will magically absorb all the scientists and researchers from the US, did you see the news that Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is closing its Earth Sciences Department and cutting a bunch of jobs? 130 undergrads will have to study something else. 🧪
VU university cuts jobs, closes earth sciences department - DutchNews.nl

Blagosklonny helped introduce a much-needed shift in how we think about ageing. This looks like a great summary/introduction to his work. Thanks @agingdoc.bsky.social for sharing!
Judy and Misha have both been profound personal inspirations.

I've recently published a review on Misha's legacy, which might be of interest to you or your readers:

One of the most inspiring figures in biogerontology/geroscience.

Campisi, Hayflick, Blagosklonny—the field has lost a lot of incredible scientists in 2024. But they've left us with many invaluable lessons about aging and how to study it.
