Relatief groeit zonPV mondiaal in 2025 natuurlijk veel sneller dan aardgas.

Absoluut is de groei van het aardgasverbruik groter. Mogelijk volgend jaar ook, want verwachting is dat aardgasvraag dan met circa 2% (=3000 PJ) groeit.

Vanaf 2027 gaat zonPV sneller, verwacht ik.

During summer, South Australian roof-top solar now has a *negative* capture rate.

That means they would have a negative NPV even if they were free to buy and install.

You see how important it is to stop producing when wholesale price turn negative.

Interesting analysis (for Germany I think, but will apply to much of Northern Europe): capping solar power at 50% of power capacity (W) loses ~13% of generated electricity. Means that grid connections do not need to cover full rated capacity since this is rarely reached
Wenn man die Einspeisung einer Solaranlage bei 50% der Nennleistung kappt, verliert man nur ca. 13% der potentiellen Erzeugung.

Und spart Umrichterleistung, Netzanschluss und Netzausbau.

Außerdem verliert man vor allem Strom in den Mittagsstunden im Sommer - wenn er ohnehin nichts wert ist.
