Many school districts were forced to take out high interest loans and told teachers they couldn’t reimburse expenses. Community services were cut for people most in need. Budgets across the state were frozen. And more.

Thanks to the leadership by House and Senate Democrats, PA finally has a state budget after more than 4 months of delay. We’re relieved this impasse has ended, but the fact of the matter is that Republicans’ refusal to do their jobs caused unnecessary damage and expenses. @aft.org

Today the 3rd Circuit Court ordered the @post-gazette.com to restore our contract it illegally tore up 5 years ago. That’s our health care, PTO, right to a 40-hr. work week, short-term disability and so much more we’ve struck for 3+ years.
