Really don't understand the outrage here. He's making a pretty solid point: we've been underperforming in Europe for two seasons in a row, and now is the time to level up. People are taking it as a provocation because they're already primed for negativity

2. They ARE a duly constituted law enforcement agency, whose behavior is the direct result of poor (or nonexistent) oversight
3. American liberals don't have the moral language to express this dissonance without special pleading
