Nach einem langen Tag im Zug (keine Wahl, dienstlich) sitze ich im Zug nach Berlin. Ich dachte, jetzt kann nicht mehr viel passieren, aber nein, wir werden eine Stunde herumstehen.

Faszinierend, dass die Verspätung zwischen Wolfsburg und Berlin (Fahrzeit 1 Minute) wieder aufgeholt wird...!!! 😃😁

Auch in diesem Efeu rund um den Baum wimmelt es von Amseln, auch wenn man sie nicht sieht, in den wenigen Minuten, die ich da stand, flogen allein vier Amseln ein...!! (Vermutlich reichlich Efeufrüchte da drinnen...)
Im Gegenlicht eine schräg stehende Baumspitze, die von reichlich Efeu umhüllt ist.

Eine weitere Amsel, der die Eibenfrüchten auch schmecken! Unsicher, ob Weibchen, wegen des strukturierteren Gefieders (ältere Weibchen können auch gelbliche Schnäbel & Augenringe haben), oder vielleicht ein junges Männchen vom vergangenen Jahr, dass noch nicht das komplette Erwachsenengefieder hat?
Vier Bilder einer Amsel mit heller strukturiertem Gefieder auf Eibenästen, auf zwei Bildern frisst sie gerade eine Eibenfrucht.

Amseln in den Eiben - wie schön, dass es bei diesen Temperaturen noch reichlich Eibenfrüchte gibt! Wie gut sie schmecken, sieht man an der roten Färbung des Anselschnabels...
Vier Fotos einer männlichen, also schwarzen, Amsel in verschiedenen Haltungen zwischen den Nadelzweigen einer Eibe, teils sind rote Eibenfrüchte zu sehen.

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI
recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.
