Don't fall for the manipulative "censorship" framing of EU's fines against X for DSA violations. The EU is trying to enforce their laws. X is breaking them. And the U.S. government is defending big tech, billionaries, & bullshitters rather than protecting users. www.linkedin.com/posts/daphne...
Don't let anyone tell you that the Commission's DSA enforcement against X is about speech or censorship. https://lnkd.in/g3Cyeeyk That would, indeed, be interesting! But this is just the EU… ...

Man who says elections (that don’t go his way) are “rigged” also claims economic numbers (that aren’t going his way) are “faked”. Who’d’ve thunk it?
It's no exaggeration to say this is how you become a failed state like Venezuela. You fire competent people and replace them with loyal sycophants, even in roles where the truth is vital.

This will end in disaster when key economic data is manipulated on behalf of an authoritarian leader.

Bad idea: Send out fundraising texts.

We drill into military officers that Members of Congress have Constitutional oversight rights, Members outrank four-stars in protocol, and even Congressional staffers are treated like generals/admirals.

To see sworn federal officers manhandle and handcuff a U.S. Senator... I'm still shook up.

While the women behind "womanosphere" outlets all have different styles and tactics, they are mostly aligned in their desire to return to a gender-essentialist worldview: women as submissive homemakers, men as strong providers.
