I don’t remember being taught about Japanese interment camps and my kids have not specifically told me they learned about it either.

Things we have to teach now and forever. Stop letting history rhyme.

Petition to have the cast of Les Misérable sing “People Sing” during the parade on Saturday. Extra credit if they are behind one of those ugly black fences.

I thought he was leaving education up to the states?

That’s not the vibe I’m getting with the EOs that came out yesterday.

Time to dive in and see how they are going to cause problems now.

Oh I have one! It was a Mexican restaurant. One day while my husband was wearing a sriracha shirt the manager brought us this spicy rice to try. When I tell you this food touched my soul because I literally cannot explain it any other way.
Sadly, They closed and now Im left daydreaming about rice
I don't want to hear about your lost loves, tell me about the restaurant food that haunts you because you'll never be able to taste it again

Update I think I’m going to have my sign say…

My kindergartners know the difference between AI and A1
Need some protest sign inspiration!

I’m probably going to make it educational related. And I would love something funny or punny.

Seriously considering and A1 joke…

Where can I get merch for protests?
I want to make sure it supports organizations and companies that are doing the work, not just some random print shop.

Blue!

I’m in love. I still have to add the drawers, doors, and knobs.

Only one little fight getting it up the stairs. Teenagers. 🤷‍♀️

And thankful for my friend on here who knew and didn’t say anything. 😉

Oh this would be perfect for a teacher!

All the items could be gotten at a reuse store and you could customize the material or add embellishments.

How many pins do you have that could be displayed?
@fearienuff.bsky.social I saw your comment about a pin board but didn’t want to hijack the thread. I made this one using an embroidery hoop and some denim.

I have thoughts about kids entering college years but I haven’t found the rights words to share yet.
The Supreme Court just let the Trump admin pull the rug out from under students—in the middle of the school year. They say it’s about diversity. It’s really about disruption. And the people paying the price are kids and teachers. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/04/u...

No offense to Greenland (because I would love to keep everyone safe)
But I don’t want to hear about our government trying keeping anyone else to safe until the people in the US are safe.
Let’s start with kids being shot in school, people being snatched and deported, and more!

Poor New Hampshire
Today, the NH Senate passed SB 295 - a universal voucher bill. It is outrageous that politicians are choosing to expand our state’s unaccountable school voucher program instead of fully funding special education or easing the burden of property taxes.
