Exactly this. The system right now allows for victims of MVAs to *maybe* find adequate compensation for injuries and losses. This new system will make that much, much harder, on top of much more expensive. Why? Who benefits?
I was in 4 car accidents in 4 years (none at fault) which I still haven't recovered from, so I know a thing or two about this. An insurer will never willingly pay the reasonable costs of the damage that can be done in an accident. #ableg #abpoli
UCP will announce future of auto insurance on Thurs. What I found out:
1) Your rates rise next year, possibly up to 7.5%
2) Rates could go down ~2027 by ~20%

I just found out that my municipality has been subsidizing certain snowbird households who wish to suspend utility services while they travel. This costs taxpayers 10k/yr since the utility then needs to be monitored for use. Unbelievable.
