Increasing your Water Bills 44% ABOVE inflation in the next 5 years isn't enough for the Water Companies, they have appealed to Ofwat to let them increase them up to 83% ABOVE inflation.

After yesterday's sad news I grabbed the nearest David Lodge book on my bookcase and began re-reading. 😢

I am very sad to say, David Lodge died on January 1st.
He was a wonderful man and hugely influential writer.
I was lucky to be his agent and he taught me so much.
His campus novels will be read for years to come.
