I'm probably just overly sensitive about this, but as soon as I see the word 'GNOME' in a FOSS application's title, I turn off immediately.

I am convinced that some people just have bad takes that they have not really thought about much. When you press them to explain, or you refute their argument, they only commit further. It's disappointing to watch someone crashing out as they attempt to rationalise something obviously nonsensical.

I'm still bitter at Games Workshop.
I had a small army of Stormcast Eternals, specifically units that were all Sacrosanct Chamber. I painted a bunch, but about a year later they got removed from the Battletomes and are now no longer valid for play.
I haven't bought a single mini since then.

In a lot of ways, BlueSky is trickier than 𝕏. At least on 𝕏 you can find people who need blocking easily; just look for profile pics of a white person sitting in a car with sunglasses on, or profile descriptions containing the word 'patriot'.

I think people don't realise how cool old tech can be. Take CRT monitors, for example. Oftentimes, I find that the softening effect of the picture on a CRT monitor makes pixel art look more realistic, which was cool in the 80s and 90s. Plus, throwing a CRT is much more fun than an LCD panel.
