Usually talking about whatever piece of entertainment I’m into at the moment.
Not mine, but try it.

Okay folks. We've repeatedly gone through this song and dance, and it's time we all read these backtracks for what they are.

He's out of a job.
The show isn't getting renewed.
He can't publicly say it bc of company guardrails.
They're banking on you to fall for it.
It's all but in ink.
It's done.
‘The Loud House’ has not been canceled following the completion of Season 9, co-producer Kevin Sullivan confirms:

“We’re still waiting on word regarding a potential Season 10.”

In a way, Animaniacs is returning to Fox.
You know HBO Max has f’d up when the FOX-owned streaming service has more respect for its back catalogue.
SEVERAL big CN/WB titles coming to Tubi on March 1:
- Animaniacs
- Ben 10 (classic)
- Codename: Kids Next Door
- Courage the Cowardly Dog
- Foster's Home
- The Powerpuff Girls (seemingly the classic despite the poster)
- Teen Titans

Welp, the time has come
Part of me kinda had the feeling that the current production season was going to be its last one. While I feel that the show has run its course for a while, I obviously wish the crew members good luck for getting future jobs.

At the end of the day, I hope everyone involved with the recently cancelled Loud House find more work in the animation industry or somewhere.

It's rough. Real rough.

Everyone celebrating this needs to check their priorities. Artists losing their jobs is NOT okay, regardless of if you liked their shows or not. You're acting no better than Amid Amidi did when he called for the show's cancellation years ago.

To anybody celebrating The Loud House ending, y'all need to wake up and realize that the animation industry is in shambles right now. People are losing their jobs. Also not everyone in TLH fandom is a creepy incest-loving weirdo. I'm friends with some sane fans of the show and they're wonderful

Having an egg salad sandwich, and thinking of that Family Guy moment where Peter’s disappointed Lois packed him that. Because I’m the opposite.

Honestly big if true. At the same time, it was probably the right call, though of course I wish everyone the best.

In this article, Kristine Belson says the studio really wants to work with Genndy Tartakovsky on another movie. *cough cough* Black Knight!
Sony Animation bosses have indicated that a ‘KPOP DEMON HUNTERS’ sequel wouldn’t be ready by 2029.

I’ll always remember James Van Der Beek as the voice of Pazu in the English dub of one of my favorite Studio Ghibli films: Castle in the Sky. To this day, it’s among my favorite adventure films. It’s devastating that he died so young. Cancer sucks. May he rest in peace.

Then again if Monster Family can get a sequel, then I guess anything can.

Hollywood can integrate artificial intelligence in their business strategy without laying off hundreds or thousands of people and creatives rely on their craftsmanship.

When we say “No AI”, we mean “No generative AI” which not only cuts corners but art gets stolen without compensation.

The rule should be “once it enters production, we can announce this project to the public.” That’s probably not foolproof either (certain WB movies), but it would likely have a lower chance of disappointing potential viewers down the line.
Sadly, every animation studio is littered with exciting projects that never got made for one reason or another. Even Pixar, which is just better about not announcing movies until they're certain they will happen (Newt is, of course, the notable exception).

I can’t help but wonder why Sony didn’t make a deal with a streamer, unless they don’t want to potentially face a repeat of KPDH’s success for another company.
Matt Braly has revealed that his feature film, co-written with Rebecca Sugar, has been scrapped at Sony Pictures Animation.

The project centered on a young boy who embarks on an emotional journey into a fantastical realm of Thai spirits, hoping to find a cure for his illness.
