Tbh I'm a bit surprised this wasn't already done, considering how big all 3 of these shows are, and that all of them have been or are getting new content. I think these will definitely be cool to keep up with for updates related to them.
Cartoon Network has launched official Instagram accounts for ‘Adventure Time’, ‘Regular Show’ and ‘The Amazing World of Gumball.’

On one hand, I'm glad they came to their senses (and it does further show that speaking out against the issue is important), but on the other, not sure why they had the idea to discontinue it in the first place
Adobe appears to have reversed course on this. Animate is safe, at least for the immediate future.

This show kind of left both a positive and negative influence on adult animation in my opinion. I have overall mixed thoughts about this show, especially considering the HD seasons, but I will say it's genuinely enjoyable in its first 6 seasons, and there's a fair share of great episodes afterwards.

I kind of don't understand why these episodes were promoted as super special, when I can argue that there are other episodes in this same season that have more ambitious and crazier premises than some of these. I enjoy Bikini Bottom Triangle and The Curse of the Hex, but the rest didn't impress me.
Legends of Bikini Bottom turns 15.

It was a SpongeBob event that premiered 4 new episodes (all of the episodes in this miniseries begin with a book revealing title card).

For unknown reasons, Curse of the Hex did not air until June, and Trenchbillies premiered the next day.

Tbh I'm kinda confused as to why it took until now for these movies to be added on there
All Rugrats movies will stream on Paramount+ on February 1st.

I love this poster so much, hot damn
Trailer I thought looked pretty good as well
There’s a whole galaxy just waiting to be explored. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is only in theaters April 1.

Ooh, this is a neat reference
In the Japanese version of Mario Kart World, the "SPECIAL test of skill" missions are named "Even the Mario Kart staff were surprised!", a reference to the name of the Way Cool course from the Special Zone in Super Mario World. This is why the SPECIAL is in all caps in English.

👀 | OpenAI is reportedly burning cash fast, with losses projected to reach $14B in 2026 and a possible cash shortfall by 2027.

Analysts say AI profitability was overestimated, as rising data center and inference costs could lead to a $207 BILLION industry shortfall by 2030.

Probably my favorite cartoon series finale that I've seen, this finale was absolutely phenomenal.

This crossover trilogy is so awesome, and this one has always been my favorite of them. Love this episode a lot!

Final tier list and ranking for #phineasandferb season 5! Saw the last few episodes earlier today, and I liked them a lot, especially the finale. I found this season to be thoroughly excellent overall. This revival feels very in-line with the original run, while also bringing a fair amount of...

This season is just a depressing case aside from the meme value. It honestly just has everything wrong with the show by this point, and the writing was just completely gone here. Say what you will about SpongeBob at its worst, but it never got close to this level of bad.
The Fairly OddParents' tenth and final season turns 10.

It introduced a new main character named Chloe Carmichael (voiced by Kari Wahlgren). The show would switch to flash animation halfway through the season.

I have honestly barely used my Switch this year, due to several factors. The vast majority of the time I used it this year was in October and November because of obvious reasons probably

Aw, this hurts :(
He's one of the true key figures on The Fairly OddParents, a lot of that show's music is really memorable.
Guy Moon - the composer of The Fairly OddParents, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, Back at the Barnyard, and Big Time Rush (among many other shows) - passed away due to a car crash on January 8, 2026.

January 7, 2026 at 3:00 AM
I watched through this show pretty recently, it's quite an interesting show (I will say though that the first 2 seasons are when I think the show is at its best). This season is probably my favorite one. MT/Lake and Jesse were fun to follow, and I really felt the tension as the season progressed.

I was told this movie was flopping though?

There's a reason I felt those who said that were overreacting from the start. It's doing decently well giving the circumstances, plus international markets make a big impact with movies like this one.
‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants’ has surpassed $112.3 million at the worldwide box office.

The film had a $64M budget.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says people should move beyond calling AI 'slop'

"We need to get beyond the arguments of slop vs sophistication and develop a new equilibrium ... that accounts for humans being equipped with these new cognitive amplifier tools as we relate to each other"

Interesting one...

As far as new episodes, I think in 2026, we will see the last 2 half-hours of "season 16" of the main show (as those have not aired yet), as well as most, if not all, of "season 17." For Patrick Show, there's that one half-hour of "season 4," and I think we'll see all of "season 5" airing too.
Another year is here!

#SpongeBobSquarePants and #ThePatrickStarShow will air more new episodes throughout the year, and a new art book is on the way as well.

What else do you expect for #SpongeBob content this year?
January 1, 2026 at 4:10 PM
Now into the new year! 2025 I honestly thought wasn't that great overall, but I still have hope that 2026 will be better. I'm more-so holding onto hope that things continue progressing forward, and the other certain things stabilize throughout. Either way, let's see how things go I guess

The main positive for them is a pretty decent animation lineup overall, the main negative is scheduling (across the main channel and its sister channels really)
