YESSSS, this exactly! queer people are more than just our pain and trauma, we deserve happy endings too!! i feel so rabid about this show for so many reasons but this is hugely one of them

Tbh I think everyone should put out fic/art that has no audience at least once in your life. It's not typically a COMFORTABLE experience, but it helps you wrest free of the tyranny of The Numbers. Make something you enjoy and don't let the response dictate in post how you felt about the process.

i miss the comment sections of everyone's livejournal posts in 2010 for exactly this reason
hashtags are meant to be the solution for this. it might be more accurate to just call them tags. you'll be able to #inline them but that's more to link to them. the main usage will be outside of the post text in a separate field (where they're a little less intrusive)
