Lots of the dumbest motherfuckers you know were ready to shoot up family restaurants because they thought Hillary Clinton and John Podesta were secretly trafficking children via pizza orders and Wayfair was shipping them in filing cabinets are gonna find any reason to not believe these emails.

For those talking about primarying the ones who caved, only Fetterman and Cortez-Masto are up for reelection in 2028. And Schumer.

Four others are in 2030

Hassan - 2030
King (Independent) - 2030
Cortez-Masto - 2028
Shaheen (Retiring)
Kaine - 2030
Fetterman - 2028
Durbin (Retiring)
Rosen - 2030

We’re not paying you to have votes.
We’re paying you to have wins.
I will continue to fight for an extension of health care tax credits before they expire at the end of this year. We will have a vote in December on improving health care and extending those credits, and I will intensify my efforts to fight for a winning vote.

Caving on the shutdown won’t make you “moderate.” It makes you WEAK! Giving Republicans what they want for NOTHING more than a “promise” of a vote and risking millions of Americans’ healthcare isn’t compromise—it’s surrender and it’s the most RADICAL thing you could do in this moment. 1/

Chris Murphy: "There will be pretty substantial damage to a Dem brand that has been rehabilitated if on the heels of an election in which the people told us to keep fighting, we immediately stop... if we surrender without having gotten anything, I worry it'll be hard to get them back up off the mat"

Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?

MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.

This sucks dude. EVEN if Thune isn’t lying to you about the vote, the House won’t hold a vote.

You got nothing, and just proved to the public that the shutdown was your fault.

And you proved to Republicans that they can weaponize hunger. You negotiated with terrorists

If you allow your fellow democratic Senators to open the government without fixing health care subsidies, the American public will never trust you again! It's your job to lead Senator Schumer and if you can't, STEP DOWN! @schumer.senate.gov

Torres is right👇

The proposal is “not a deal," says Democratic U.S. House Rep. Ritchie Torres.

"It’s an unconditional surrender that abandons the 24 million Americans whose health care premiums are about to double.”

Here's something telling about Bill Ferguson's opposition to a redraw: Not a single prominent MD Dem has publicly come out to defend him.

Instead, Gov. Wes Moore is starting to box him in by setting up a new redistricting commission, and people like Louise Lucas are just absolutely dogwalking him.
VA Senate president pro tem absolutely rips MD Senate president for opposing redistricting.

Notably, VA Dems win massively *after* pushing for a new map.

And that's how it's supposed to work: There has to be an election after an amendment is proposed so voters can weigh in before it can proceed.

I think he is at @senbillferg.bsky.social

And Bill, you sound like a Republican plant arguing for unilateral disarmament for Dems.

The fact that Dems won one (including prop 50 in CA!), does not change the fact that the rules need to be fair, nationwide.

Tonight’s resounding Democratic victory shows we don't need to rig the system to win. When we provide a better vision about the future - lower costs, better services, and real solutions to protect against Trump - voters overwhelmingly choose our leadership.

It’s true. I checked abc and cbs websites.
Nothing
I just did an internet search for “Trump falls asleep in Oval Office” and found a couple stories from small left-leaning outlets and some foreign press.

Major American corporate media outlets or local news? Not so much.
