Nearly two dozen journalists have been killed so far in Hamas-Israel war
- It’s a staggering number. I can’t recall the last time so many journalists killed in such a short period
- For context, 15 journalists have been killed in Ukraine between 2022-2023

Incredible. Bandai released a stupid Gunpla NFT metaverse thing, but they didn’t secure or encrypt the files…so there are now just full-on trade-secret CAD files out there of MG kits, including unreleased ones, ready for 3D printing or bootlegging

This is so empty here, so let me start something.

We sometimes get asked by researchers for permission to re-use the data in a replication package posted by an author in one of our journals.

The answer is: it depends. 1/n

FANTASTIC news!!

Let’s remember that among the amazing things she did is also the Women in Economics (UWE) challenge, which made us start thinking of ways to increase women in economics. It was 2015 & that’s how my work in this space started.

Thank you & congrats Claudia Goldin!

By far the funniest e-mail reply to the expert survey that I fielded earlier this year was from Claudia Goldin, who wrote to me: "With great appreciation for all your work ... I NEVER do predictions ... I’m an economic historian and specialize in post-dictions"

Huge congrats to Claudia Goldin!
