I have 64,000+ followers on Twitter. I get far more engagement (and enjoyment) from the 20,000 followers I have here on Bluesky. My Twitter account is basically just a shiny paperweight that attracts bots that want to yell at me.
people are way too obsessed with vanity numbers. in 2024, a lot of those Twitter accounts are dead or dying. plus there is an algorithm that suppresses reach on top of that.

I want to quit X/Twitter.
But I can still can reach a massive audience there (154K followers) that need to be reached. I have less than 10K followers here & similar sites & less than 20K on Mastodon and LinkedIn. Growth on Bluesky has been slow.
My question is always, where can I do the most good?
