Anyone shocked by the national yawn in the face of open torture camps on US soil, needs to grapple with the fact that this is what we’ve ordered soldiers to do abroad, or funded other govs to do, or have allowed to happen “over there” and it became normalized and now it’s just coming home.

Starting HRT was like a wash of calm over me. It's now easier for me to handle anxiety thanks to T reducing dysphoric background brainfuzz.

A common occurrence with trans men starting T is actually an increased calm.

If a sitting president can openly muse about arresting and disappearing someone who is likely to become mayor of the country's largest city, while also getting the funding for a massive secret police, it'd be hard to find sufficient evidence to qualify that country as a democracy.

as a jew, i feel relieved and vindicated that cynical fearmongering about israel did not win this election for a sex creep and grandma killer, a win which would have been declared ‘on my behalf’ and which i and most of my fellow jews did not want
I'm hearing a lot of "Jews in New York are scared" today. So, a couple of thoughts: 1) Jews should be angry, not scared. We were targeted with a relentless, heavily funded barrage of lies playing off of real fears of antisemitism by a man who came within 7 points of winning. That reeks of contempt.>
