My cat has been refusing to eat her tuna in its normal dish and spot but keeps yowling for it anyway. I snapped and decided to try a different dish, moved into the hall, and...she devoured it. Of course.

I'm not likely to actually see it - I'm full of superhero fatigue - but I find myself weirdly emotionally invested in the Fantastic Four movie being a Good Fantastic Four Story.

I ordered some groceries for delivery, and the shopper got almost all of the items. They then got stuck at "wrapping up" for ten minutes and vanished from the app. I'm worried that my shopper was raptured or something.

OK, a coworker I'd never met before turned out to be a Pulp fan, and he informed me that they've got a show in NYC in September. Somehow I missed this. So, um, now I have an extra ticket to Pulp on Sept 11.

I'm at karaoke with coworkers. I've picked my first song (Iggy Pop, The Passenger - perfectly in my range and stupid easy to sing), so we shall see if I build the courage to actually sing.

Now, I'm always skeptical of organizer estimates of protest crowd sizes, but the NYT's claim of 50k in New York yesterday is laughable. I am extremely confident that I saw well over 50k going through the 5th and 40th intersection myself.

I gave up - the crowd at the New York protest/march is insanely massive and basically isn't moving. Took me twenty minutes of snaking my way upstream through the crowd to get clear and have a path to the subway. Woof.
