Just got back from watching #GoodBoy, and Indy was more than good, he was amazing! Would highly recommend it, and as a slight positive spoiler, no the dog doesn't die at the end so you don't have to worry about that

To all writers, what would you say is the optimum time frame to leave a #WIP before returning to it with a fresh pair of eyes? For a novel, I try to wait at least a month but I get so impatient.
Are you all objective about edits when returning sooner?
