Not sure if it’s related, but a few weeks ago I got approached by someone at a T stop who said they were collecting signatures for a ballot measure to protect marijuana. When I asked who they were, they said they worked for the state which made no sense and I didn’t sign.
A group pushing to repeal legalization of recreational marijuana sales in Massachusetts has been dogged by allegations that it misled people into signing its petition.
They said they were asked to sign petitions for housing or safer streets. It was really to end recreational weed sales. - The Boston Globe
The coalition pushing for the ballot initiative has denied allegations of misleading voters, saying they were concocted by the marijuana industry.

Imagine if a road through a city just became 1/2 the width and dirt for a block. And you had to instead drive over onto a runway to get around it.

Remember not too long ago when everyone was posting photos of #MBTA countdown clocks with 20+ mins? These days the clocks tend to look more like this. The change into a system that is (mostly) fast and reliable* is impressive and transformative.

One of the best things about the inflatable suits is that it’s really hard to paint protesters as dangerous when the video of you arresting them looks like this.
