Finally fixed the PowerBook Duo! Wouldn't spin the HDD or boot, and turns out a MOSFET actually went open! I haven't encountered that one before, and it wasn't a visible fault either.

Guys this is insane. First thing I ever design for 3D printing, made it for no reason other than to learn. It's a fucking game controller. Uses no batteries, size of a credit card and fits in a wallet! I'm playing games with it, like this thing REALLY works. Patent pending, patent pending, aamp ip 😅

The buttons are capacitive rubber, while the prototype here is a bit thicker than it needs to be, it still fits well! "Velcro" was proposed by a colleague, soft side cushioning the phone!!

I want to release a small 2D platformer asset pack on Itch!

I've never properly tried to create a 3d model and thought maybe I'd learn over the next 6 months or so and this is what I created day 1 first attempt! It's all arbitrary and just learning how to make shapes and shit so not for anything in particular but for some freehand practice I'm proud of it 😅

Something you don't see very often.
Inside an 8K Commodore PET model 2001-8N.
Notice the 4 holes drilled in the front of the PCB to stop you buying the cheaper model and upgrading the RAM yourself.
Yes, they actually did that.
Although it wasn't too hard to add bodge wires, I have seen that done.
