Toughed out two skin biopsies to make sure I haven't developed skin sarcoidosis, or to figure out what marks were on my arm. Results? Nothing notable. Annoyed that the only thing I feel like I took away was personal learning about hydrocolloid bandages. 😡

We ran a randomized controlled trial to see how much AI coding tools speed up experienced open-source developers.
The results surprised us: Developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower when they had access to AI than when they didn't.

Thinking a little about personal ethics. I can choose to ignore the boy who lived because of its creator, but some things (i.e. Amazon) are impractical / difficult to opt out of because of the benefits and convenience they bring. Am I less for supporting a broken system?
