For those who may not know me or who are new here from X/Twitter, product accessibility and inclusive design is my jam .

I'm also limb different (shout out to the amputee community!) and advocate for authentic disability representation in media.
Designing for #accessibility isn’t one-size-fits-all.

On mobile, users tap and swipe within arm’s reach. On TV, they navigate from across the room — often with just a remote.

The regulator says it’s heard that some programming remains difficult to navigate for those who are blind or partially sighted and is considering whether its accessibility rules need updating.

October is Disability Employment Awareness Month—a reminder that what we see on screen shapes perceptions around who belongs in the workplace.

Our research found that disabled adult TV characters are less likely to be shown with a job compared to non-disabled characters.
