So happy to bike by my local independent bookstore to get Life After Cars and chocolate.

Having just cycled in the city I’m starting with half a bar & Part III: How we get free. @thewaroncars.bsky.social

Grueling semester so far but I’ve picked up a new hobby: Sandwich bag.

Someone/something left this bag containing food on an inaccessible ledge outside my lab. All we can do is wait/observe…

Day 34: possible mold developing, the weight still firmly on the edge, wind gusts predicted tonight.

Speeding is for people who can't do math.

The majority of car trips in the US are less than 6 miles. If you drive 30 mph instead of 20 mph, you'll only get there 6 minutes earlier but you're much more likely to kill someone. Just leave 10 minutes earlier and drive slower.

Child’s backpack left in cab, awesome driver brought it to the precinct, tracked backpack and got the bag back. Precious stuffed animals and homework recovered.

@thebrianlehrershow.bsky.social you've given air-time to @galebrewernyc.bsky.social's anti-bike rhetoric, yesterday's show demonstrated how biased some NYC journalists are. Pls host @transalt.org for a discussion of safe/equitable/sustainable streets. #CitiesAreForPeople

This mocking bird started visiting us multiple times a day. He’s noisy, digs in my pots, and brings friends sometimes.
