Repeat after me - the institutions of this economy depend on the institutions of this democracy, among which is the rule of law
Jack Smith: "My fear is that we have seen the rule of law function in our country for so long that many of us have come to take it for granted. The rule of law is not self-executing. It depends on our collective commitment to apply it."

Frey is right. Blanche just all but admitted the Trump Regime is trying to manufacture a basis to invoke the Insurrection Act. Nobody should help them.
"This is not creating safety," Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey responded to the most recent shooting in the city, with an ICE officer who shot and injured a man during an ambush.

Know what’s fucking insane?

Our NATO allies are sending troops to Greenland to defend against a possible US invasion.

I know this administration doesn’t understand anything about anything, but the US is not self-sufficient enough to thrive in an interconnected world on our own.

Q: Are Greenland's limits going to be respected?

TRUMP: Well we're gonna see what happens with Greenland. We need Greenland for national security. If we don't go in Russia is gonna go in & China is gonna go in. And there's not a thing that Denmark can do about it. But we can do everything about it

Just guessing here, but I suspect the White House is pushing so hard for wars of conquest on multiple fronts because they see their support collapsing ahead of the midterms and worry they won't get another shot. An example of how tyrants become more dangerous as they get weaker, not less.
