I would like to agree, but VP Harris led a joyful campaign and folks said nope I’d rather have the government murder my neighbors instead.

That’s not what I am hearing. When Trump loses he claims fraud. The smaller the win, the harder it is to defend (because they cling to minutia like not dated or signature changes or how long it took to get through the mail). This minutia doesn’t matter when there are larger margins.
