Everything in their tiny minds boils down to immigration. They just can't see they've fallen for the establishment's usual divide & conquer routine & are literally supporting the same rhetoric
In a nutshell, the problem with political debate in this country and the reason why we can't solve any REAL problems and have nice lives.
They've trained gullible cap doffers like this to bring every argument back around to immigration, no matter how utterly deranged that argument may be.

Think of all those pro-Israel pundits you saw on your television screens this past year trying to sociopathically justify the mass starvation of Gaza by robotically claiming Hamas steals the aid. They were all lying. Shamelessly. Even the Israeli military confirms it now.

Yesterday, the government removed vital support from disabled people.

Today, the government will criminalise protestors who want to stop genocide.

I opposed the government's attack on the disabled - and I will oppose the draconian proscription of Palestine Action.

This proposal by the BBC is explicitly anti-democratic. As @natashadevon.bsky.social and others have pointed out, more women are moving to the Green party than are men going to Reform - yet the national broadcaster is falling over itself to pander to the extreme right. Why?
When did you ever hear the BBC stating that it must alter “story selection” and “other types of output, such as drama”, to win the trust of Green voters, or of unrepresented people on the left?
All the shifts are in just one direction.

Far be it from me to suggest that Allison Pearson’s characteristic journalistic rigour has misfired, but in her haste to portray Lucy Connolly as a non-racist victim of injustice - punished for a single, fleeting misguided tweet - Ms Pearson does not appear to have researched her subject’s views.
