otd e2 light spoilers, but this is what gets me the most about people saying emma was somehow more "passive" in court or not doing her job properly. emma's main priority is not eviscerating morgan in court, but rather upholding justice via the law. if she gets there by winning/losing, she gets there
this is in no way me saying Emma doesn't care about her job, I truly do believe she generally wants justice for people, but if Morgan is able to convince a jury within reasonable doubt that someone DIDN'T do something, isn't that justice anyway? it's not "which lawyer is better", it's work
