sinners is imo actually the perfect case for why the academy shouldn't rig it to get more big hits in the awards show. just make big hits as good as sinners and they'll be there on merit.
i think sinners is just there on merit! it would still deserve the nomination had it bombed.

Thought about the film The Brutalist and about how the entire time I was watching that film I assumed it was a true story because I thought I recognised the name Laszlo Toth, and it wasn’t until weeks after that I realised it was because I was thinking about the guy that raced in F3

Really impressed by how every time we won the ball in defence we always found an out ball to, if not get a counter off, at least relieve the pressure. City never got the chance to try and wear the defence down.
