www.politico.com/news/2025/11... This article is infuriating. The democrats are not 'fighting a war' but responding to one started by MAGA. Yes, large majorities of democrats support partisan gerrymandering; not because we like it, but ONLY because the GOP is shameless and ruthless about doing so.
Poll: Voters support gerrymandering to win the midterms
A majority of both Democrats and Republicans support redrawing congressional districts to give their side a boost next year.

I thought watching Harris lose last year was as bad as things could get. I was wrong. This is worse. I'm not sure there's much point now, because it seems the fix was in. Gin up the base to win on Tuesday while planning to cave later. It was always what the *real* constituency of the party wanted.

As horrifying as Trump's senile rant at the UN was, we can all take comfort in the fact that Tucson AZ is absolutely going to elect Adelita Grijalva to congress today, and she will be the 218th name on the Epstein discharge petition.

There's no excuse. None, for what happened to Charlie Kirk. It doesn't matter if you liked him or hated him. We need to fix this.

Whenever I see these stories I remind myself of how self-destructive these attacks are for Putin. They're brutal but militarily useless. They don't degrade Ukraine's ability to fight and they only make civilians hate Russians more. Ukraine uses *its* munitions far more effectively.
Russia struck Ukraine with the largest aerial bombardment of the 3½-year war, hitting a government building in the heart of the capital for the first time.
Russia’s Largest Drone Attack Yet Hits Ukraine Government Building
More than 800 attack drones targeted sites across the country, Kyiv says.

www.bbc.com/news/article... This is how reputations shatter. Anyone thinking Columbia is a good place to get an education needs to reconsider. The people running this place are complete idiots. They're the nerds that kept getting their lunch money stolen and have learned nothing since

This is your periodic reminder that every power MAGA gives Trump is a power that the next democratic president will have and likely use.

"True, I did fire you 'for cause', cut off your health care, and made your mother drive 400 miles to talk to someone about her missing social security check. But hey, I'm 'stepping back', so let's let bygones by bygones. Why don't you head over to your local Tesla dealership and help a fella out?"

REUs are the lifeblood of sustainable science. This will kill-off an entire generation of future scientists, especially when many students are already questioning whether there will be a research community to join.
