You can only start 3 former #Pittsburgh #Pirates outfielders, which ones do you choose?

Gimme the following:

Stargell in LF (because I didn't use him at 1B on the infield one a few weeks ago, so he's still available here)

McCutchen in CF (because that's the prime, MVP Cutch who was also a Gold Glove centerfielder)

Clemente in RF (because you can't pass up The Great One)

Ed Ott was awesome. Saw a game in Houston when Larry Andersen threw at Spike Owen's head. Benches cleared and Ed was a coach for the Astros at the time. With his wrestling background, he came out and just started throwing Expos off the pile. It ended quickly. As a big Buccos fan I loved seeing it.

Manny is my favorite. No ball was out of his strike zone.
How about some love for Ed Ott the backup catcher for the ‘70s Buccos.

Happy #NationalCatchersDay &
#GroundhogDay!

Joe Garagiola once said:

“The catcher is a groundhog. He's a guy squatting down, digging for the ball in the dirt, and sweating under a pile of uncomfortable protective gear while his knees creak.”
