If the NZZ can describe Ireland as "an EU country", why can't English-language (and presumably other western European) media do the same for Ukraine (well, "a European country"), Estonia etc. rather than "ex-Soviet"? (Or just go for the country's name)

If the NZZ can describe Ireland as "an EU country", why can't English-language (and presumably other western European) media do the same for Ukraine (well, "a European country"), Estonia etc. rather than "ex-Soviet"? (Or just go for the country's name)

"Dodgy seat-level MRPs" are back. Unless Plaid crash the Welsh government into the ground quicker than anybody has in Westminster in the last decade, I can't see Reform gaining Dwyfor Meirionnydd.

"Dodgy seat-level MRPs" are back. Unless Plaid crash the Welsh government into the ground quicker than anybody has in Westminster in the last decade, I can't see Reform gaining Dwyfor Meirionnydd.
