Looking forward to the BBC’s #TowardsZero starting tonight. The 1944 novel is an astonishing triumph that does everything edgy authors of psychological thrillers did 20 years later, interwoven with a supremely classical puzzle. These aren’t separate elements but enhance one another.

It was so, so, so fun -- the whole series looks to be AMAZING!

Am overwhelmed and giddy to have been part of “Travels With Agatha Christie & Sir David Suchet.” Meeting Sir David was amazing; visiting a place in Hawaii that Agatha Christie enjoyed so much was transcendent. I’m in Episode 4; the whole series is on BritBox on March 8 and in the UK soon after!

Obsessively buying and eating gorgeous beans from @ranchogordo.bsky.social and trying to include new-to-me beans in every order…but also being newly obsessed with mayocoba beans so I cheated a little here ❤️

Dear spouse: "This is why I always make sure the powdered sugar tastes like sugar."

Me, to my beloved spouse: "Hey, if anyone comes asking, yes, I was on the internet looking up the physical appearance of a large number of deadly poisons this morning in preparation for an Agatha Christie-related demonstration talk I'm giving on Valentine's Day! Love you!"

Waving hello from the west coast of the USA and keeping my guess to myself ;-).

How absolutely lovely!

'Travels with #AgathaChristie, with Sir David Suchet' debuts on Britbox in N America on 8 March 2025; UK viewers will see it on C4. I worked on the series as consultant and hope people enjoy its exploration of how the world has changed since AC's 1922 tour. Who knows, you might see familiar faces 👀

I think yesterday me, who listened to Beyoncé's Texas Hold 'Em on loop for an hour for reasons, didn't seek permission from today me, who is living with the earworm. Which isn't bad, per se, but does seem as if it should have involved more dialogue ahead of time.
