The core criterion for publishing decisions will be whether the work is consequential: whether it matters for improving population health. This will include contributions within health improvement, health protection, healthcare public health, and all of the sciences which underpin them.

We are at the initial stages of creating the Population Health Journal, and as such there is an opportunity to shape its policies and approach. We intend to publish a range of article types in the Population Health Journal.

Future editorial committees will be selected from, and elected by, the community we are seeking to create (i.e. by the authors we publish and our peer reviewers).

The Population Health Journal will be a fully open access journal with no fees for authors or readers, and run as a community of practice whereby authors will be expected to contribute to peer reviewing.

5/5 We theorise that a #WellbeingEconomy can better protect the environment, reduce inequalities, and improve access to the resources we need to live healthily. To get there we need an understanding of power and vested interests, and working collectively to build a movement for change.

4/5 Wellbeing Economies have been proposed as a response to the #polycrisis, not least because orthodox economic are driving climate change, biodiversity loss, inequalities and erosion of democracy. Redesigning our economies is therefore an urgent and essential task.
