What makes exploratory research valuable? We discuss 6 factors: 1) Large and 2) Uncommon sample 3) Rigorous data collection 4) Widely used measures that 5) Reveal a coherent pattern across variables meaningful to others and 6) The potential to generate questions.

Self-affirmation techniques do not appear to be effective in reducing these negative attitudes.

The study shows that individuals who support the new form of secularism (i.e., laws that restrict religious practice to the private sphere) tend to hold stronger prejudices toward religious groups, particularly Muslims. @seguimon1.bsky.social

A scientific paper is a necessary but not sufficient summary of the scientific research. Fully reporting your work means making data (or anonymized summaries) and the analysis code that produces all results in the paper transparently available.
